Each of these is better than us at something. If that something is what you need, buy theirs.
What Wispr Flow has that we do not
Mobile apps, on iOS and Android, so dictation follows you off the desktop; we are desktop only today. Their cloud dictation is also faster than ours, and the reason is dedicated funded infrastructure rather than a different idea about dictation.
Where Mr.Speech differs
It is compatible with Linux, it has a fully private on-device mode that needs no internet, and dictation is one of five modes rather than the entire product.
The honest test
Ask whether you will still be pasting transcripts into a notes app afterwards, and whether you need the same tool on the machine you actually work on. If dictation on a phone is the deciding factor, take theirs.
