What is the Model Context Protocol?
An open standard that lets an AI assistant call tools in another application. Mr.Speech exposes your notes, tasks and boards through it, so an assistant can act on them directly.
Does this mean my notes are sent to OpenAI or Anthropic?
Only what an assistant reads in response to your request passes through it, and only for the workspace you connected. The local tools do not leave your machine at all.
Do I have to use an external assistant?
No. The built-in voice agent and notes agent do the same class of work inside the app. The connector is there so you are not forced to choose.
